Celebrate the "Year of Zayed"

Three significant locations were chosen for the murals, including the Sheikh Khalifa Bridge intersection. The mural, by artist Maajed Ahmed , features the Year of Zayed logo in green, symbolizing Sheikh Zayed's reforestation efforts. The other mural, showcases a portrait of Sheikh Zayed with the phrase, "the true resource is the resource of men."
The "Year of Zayed" came to celebrate the centenary commemorating the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE, who passed away in 2004, that year witnessed activities and initiatives that honor the leader's memory, glorify his impact and legacy, and establish the values he instilled and worked hard to spread.
